According to ABC News, a new research shows that taking green coffee bean extract that may be purchased as a supplement in the USA may very well be a risk-free and successful solution to shed a few pounds.

Joe Vinson, a scientist at University of Scranton, Pennsylvania, and research author says: “Based on our results, taking multiple capsules of green coffee extract a day – while eating a low fat, healthful diet and exercising regularly – appears to be a safe, effective, inexpensive way to lose weight.”

In this research the scientists monitored one group of 16 overweight adults in their 20s. During the course of the study, that lasted 22 week, these individual took 1,050 mg of green coffee bean extract.

The results were quite impressive.

green coffee bean extractWithout modifying their diet or workout, these individuals lost approximately 10.5% (an average of 17 pounds) in total body weight. One of main conclusion of this study, presented at the American Chemical Society national day in San Diego, was that no dangerous side effects were observed.

It’s not totally clear how the green coffee bean extract contributes to weight loss. Vinson thinks that chlorogenic acid, a chemical in the unroasted bean, may possibly be responsible for it. Several other scientists believe the stimulant properties of caffeine might be the primary cause.

Are there any chlorogenic acid side effects? There were no reported side-effects in the studies made!

Conclusions

But taking this supplement isn’t enough. Losing weight has more than just that.

And if you really want to burn fat I’ve to commit yourself with each of these 3 areas. Green coffee bean extract can be a great to jump-start your weight loss journey, but it’s a supplement, not a substitute.

The emphasis will always need to be on overall diet and physical activity.

You don’t need to hit the gym and exercise 5 hours a day. You can start by walking 30 minutes each day, increasing its intensity and duration each week…  Than adopt a more healthy diet, by including more veggies and fruits and less foods with sugar and fat!

It seems that there are some reasons to believe that green coffee bean extract can be a great addition to your arsenal to battle weight. But also be prepared to sweat and to have healthier meals, as workout and diet are also needed. :)

Regular physical activity is known to help reduce a wide range of potential health risks. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, regular exercise can reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes, heart disease and some forms of cancer. By reducing the risk of serious health conditions, the likelihood of enjoying a long life is improved.

The reduced health risks are often associated with weight-related issues. Since regular exercise helps improve weight maintenance and will reduce weight when combined with an appropriate diet, those who are engaging in regular physical activities will see better overall health.

Improved Mental Health:

Regular exercise is not only about the physical rewards and the reduced risks. It also plays a role in the lives of those who are struggling with mental health conditions or who are at risk of developing mental health disorders.

According to Dr. Daniel M. Landers from Arizona State University, regular exercise helps reduce anxiety and depression in individuals who are struggling against the mental health conditions. Those who are not yet ready to invest in equipment can use exercise bands and body weight to get excellent results. Incorporate some pushups, squats and jumping jacks into the routine to build up muscle and work several muscle groups at the same time.

When planning to exercise outside, enjoy playing a sport or roller blading in the park. Exercise is about physical movement and activities, so it does not necessarily mean running or biking. Get a little creative and enjoy less obvious activities. Those who enjoy outdoor activities can enjoy a hike or go swim in the ocean.

Physical fitness is beneficial to overall health, but it does not mean spending hours in boredom. Enjoying activities like sports or walking in the park are great ways to get in shape and make the activity easier to incorporate into a busy schedule.
